Hmm,Tropic of Cancer, not really a top giallo in my book but still...there's some nice scenery and Anita Strindberg.

So Sweet,So Dead is more of a poliziotto giallo, not really my favorite giallo sub-genre (though I did really enjoy Black Belly of the Tarantula and Plot Of Fear).

Default Malocchio, aka Evil eye, aka Eroticofollia, aka...aka...

Has anyone watched the X-rated or Simpel Movie DVD of this? I got a really beat up copy of the Simpel Movie - which was supposed to be new - and there's severe damage around the 65mins. Does anyone remember something like this?

Hi,
Do you remember whether the video was bad generally? I mean artifacts going mad around the middle-end?

It isn't the best transfer. A lot of these German releases are from very poor source material (usually VHS). It's been a while since I've watched it, but I can't recall a prolonged period of artifacting - there was a lot of it throughout, but no particular scene(s) that I recall it being really bad in.

I have the Simpel Movie, remember the print was "a bit beat up".
I think (not 100% certain) that both German dvd's use the same master.
Seems this is the medium-long Italian version, there should also exist a slightly longer version.
I immediately suspected a possible longer version existed after watching the ending.

[edit] I also don't remember massive artifacting, but if you want I'll check it later.

What's your set-up? Big tv?

B, did your Simple Movie Hardbox contain the X-Rated disc? Mine did for some reason.
