I'm hoping on an English friendly release of Bloody Iris with a subbed Italian track...
It's either that or I will have to upgrade my Italian skills...

I'm not that crazy about the English dub, maybe it's because I first watched this in French?

One giallo I really want to see is THE KILLER IS STILL AMONG US. I've tried downloading it (don't worry folks, it's not available on dvd) but it was really slow so I deleted it.

Anyone seen it?

I've seen it.
It's very loosely based on a real case (il mostro di Firenze).
The murders are brutal (lots of gunplay which is a bit unusual but also some slicing up of victims) and I really liked the ending.
Btw The student whose researching the killer for her thesis reminded me of another film (Thesis...).
This has lots to offer to the giallo fan, some thrills and chills and some laughs (the club of voyeurs?).
A decent dvd would be welcomed.

Thought you might

I know it was based on a true story. I could be wrong, but they they never caught the killer did they?

I've seen a few images from one the murders and it looks really nasty. Would you say it was nastier than GIALLO A VENEZIA?

THESIS is another film I'd like to see.

I have, and it's pretty good - and pretty extreme (when compared to a lot of mainstream gialli).

I used to have it on my old PC, but unfortunately forgot to transfer it across when I got my new one...

...did find a VHS rip with fansubs on Cinemageddon. Tried to upload it to Mediafire for you, but the file is way too big.

Ah, thanks anyway. I'm sure I'll come across a copy soon.

Yes,they never caught the killer.
I don't think it's nastier than Giallo a Venezia but it's also different.
More or less a traditional giallo while Giallo a Venezia is more sleazy.

You should check out Thesis,it's fun.

I love Murder Rock. Watched it for the first time a few weeks ago. That theme is classic 80's stuff.
