I see. The blogger says that The House with Laughing Windows isn't a giallo and it's in the list.

So I guess I can say Inferno is a giallo. Who cares It's at least directed by someone who has made many.

The House with Laughing Windows is generally classed as a giallo. Inferno definitely isn't. Being part of the Three Mothers Trilogy which is about a coven of witches.

There's a book called Blood and Black Lace which i'd recommend if it's still available. Written by Adrian Luther Smith and released via The Dark Side mag. Whether or not you agree with the reviews, that doesn't matter, but it's a pretty good checklist of gialli.

There are a couple of thin books from Midnight Media called the Giallo Scrapbook.

Despite only having around fifty pages, each page covers a film and has loads of tantalizing little images that are bound to whet your appetite for all thing gialli.

Fab Press usually stock them but they are out of stock at the moment.

I can heartly recommend the two Giallo Scrapbooks and Blood and Black Lace they are both essential reads for anyone interested in gialli.

The DVD has an anamorphic widescreen transfer and I would say that the quality is quite good. I think that the subtitles may be fixed on DVD players though, although they can be turned off if viewing on a PC with something like VLC media player.
