Two or three of these titles shouldn't really have been included in the poll, in my opinion. But the three films that are currently in the lead, are true Zombie films.

I can't decide between Dawn of The Dead or Zombie Flesh Eaters. I have not seen the latter in years so I think a re-watch would be required ... preferably a blu-ray from a glorius, defnitive Arrow package? |

I know it's been mentioned by a couple of people in previous posts on this thread & isn't in the poll, but I've got to send out some love for Amando De Ossorio's Blind Dead movies.  The coffin set is one of my most prized possessions, these films get a lot repeat viewing because if I watch one, I can't resist watching the other three after. I love the oppressive, doom-like feelings they evoke, I find them genuinely chilling & very creepy. The soundtracks are sublime, I just wish they were commercially available.

Has to be Dawn Of The Dead, what a masterpiece. Though it was a close toss up between this and Fulci's Zombie Flesh Eaters. Recently watched both back to back and whilst ZFE was my childhood favourite (mainly for the gore) I think that Romero's film is more tense and atmospheric. Shame I couldn't vote for both.

Night of the Living Dead is my favorite. Always enjoyed that film. And I agree with others, Evil Dead is not a zombie film.
