"The Witches" scared the living shit out of my daughter, it was the scene when Angelica Huston removes her mask to show her witch's face. We had to "throw" the film out of the house because it up set her so much, in fact it's in my wardrobe, but don't tell her!

How about a bit of vintage animation in Mad Monster Party? Boris Karloff himself was one of the voice talents for the characters. I had a crusty old VHS of this back in the day, not sure if it ever came to DVD.

The Lady in White. I think its a PG, anyway. Really good film from the 80's. Some scenes might be too much for younger kids, though. It's hard making a distinction between movies for kids and movies I watched as a kid - but probably shouldn't have. |

The Hole 3D was pretty good. I never saw it in 3D but it was filmed in Real 3D. Quite enjoyed it and will probs buy it. |

When my nephew was young we watched Legend 1985 I thought Tim Curry playing the devil or the goblins would scare him but it was Meg Mucklebones that terrified him.
