If there's one thing I've realised about starting a new thread, it's that I'll probably end up in dept again trying to track down and buy all the films mentioned. When will I ever learn!

I'll put it on my Xmas list, Pedro.

Oh, and how can we forget Gremlins?! Hello!

The original Black Christmas has always been a favourite of mine.

Also, if you have 20 minutes to spare, I'd urge you to check out this great Xmas horror short: Treevenge - It's absolutely brilliant!

Black Christmas all the way for me -- it predates Halloween in many ways and I think the Billy character is one of the most sinister and scary killers in cinema history.

Well said and i'm in total agreement with you.

Billy is indeed one seriously disturbed, demented and deranged character and his vocal moments of madness are undeniably chilling and memorable.

Olivia Hussey and Margot Kidder are pretty easy on the eye, too imo!
