One of the reasons that Billy worked so well is because we know absolutely nothing about him, something they should have realised when they remade the movie. It is, like you say, an absolutely outstanding vocal performance and one that is still fairly disturbing even now.

I agree with you about Margot Kidder and Olivia Hussey, though I prefer Hussey over Kidder.

Obvious choices and already mentioned a lot here but Black Christmas and Silent Night, Deadly Night for me. Had a few friends over at the weekend to watch these and they enjoyed both, especially the latter which is a great film to watch with an audience after a few drinks


Might watch Christmas Evil with the missus later
