The Burning 3D
Cropsey's shears hacking & slashing in 3D would be quite effective, I think.

The obvious choice for me would be Ringu. Can you imagine that ending coming out of your TV????!!

Even though I'd much prefer to see something original (and if I had my full wish not it 3D) I'd definitely go and see and Evil Dead 3D remake. That's as long as they use practical effects and film it with a proper 3D camera; none of this CGI blood and gore rubbish.

Original use of 3D is all very well, but I want critters flying at me from the screen!

Do you mean random animals or actual CRITTERS from the film of the same name?

SHOCK LABYRINTH

There's a nice clip link on the Shock Labyrinth hub which updates the horror of someone's head facing the wrong way for the 3D age by having the spooky apparition running full tilt down a corridor while her head turns backwards before she flies back up the passage at the camera.

I much prefer this to having blood sprayed on the screen or a gore soaked weapon dangled at me.

Link is in the last blog post.

I'd like to see someone redo the universal monster movies respectfully for 3D. The sweep up the stairs to meet Dracula's gaze in the Spainish language version of the original film would look great.
