Anyone seen a Spanish film called Tesis? Was recommended to me a while back, apparently something to do with researching snuff films.
Ah, yes, Tesis ; I picked that up on VHS a couple of years ago in Poundland on the recommendation of the friend I was with - I think it is possibly the last new VHS I ever bought . I've still never gotten around to watching it, but I think I may just pick it up on DVD first.

*Edit* Actually seen how much this costs on Amazon - 40 quids!! Damn, some of those old Tartan releases are pricey, now.

Special mention for EMANUELLE IN AMERICA with it's shockingly realistic snuff scenes. You can see why D'Amato got into a bit of trouble over them:

I thought Vacancy was great as well. Not seen the 2nd one either but always tempted to pick it up in blockbuster. Might well be in their 5 for £5 now.

They are just murders on film. the accepted definition of a snuff film is a murder committed on film for financial gain. therefore a third party takes possession of the finished film, there is no suggestion that this happens in any of the films quoted.
