I've always been a fan of the axe to the head, it seems a particularly brutal way to dispatch slasher victims.

An Axe to the head shows a real commitment to terror on the part of the killer. No sneaking around with little blades, an Axe needs room to swing so I think it's the weapon of choice for psychos who don't want to hide their light under a bushel. |

They might be one of the most cliqued weapons of the genre, but you can't beat the loud sound of a chainsaw in a horror flick.

I'm a fan of the pitchfork. Not only is there the triple threat of stabbing something delicate, there's a long handle to get the old lift n' slide on with a bit of leverage.
