Do you drive a combine harvester, though ;)

I spent a lot of my more recent 'adult' life in SE England, so everyone where I'm now living thinks I have a more Cockney-sounding accent... I don't see it (or hear it) myself, though!

I think nobody recognises themselves when they hear there voice played back,in my head i think i sound like Cary Grant,in reality im bumpkin:)

It kinda reminds me of reading old Fangoria when all you'd get is the gore scenes, and at the time never got to see the films.

This was the death which always got me from Zombie.

I first saw it as a kid of 14 or so and nearly choked on my pot noodle.

Yeah, he played the character Peter Kurten in Copycat, named after the German serial killer from the 1930's

Laid to Rest features one of my favourite kills of recent years.

I like it because as Chromeskull moves the knife about in the victims head her eyes and mouth are still moving as she dies in this graphic scene. It also stands out due to small details such as her eyes becoming bloodshot due to the knife behind them.

bizarre_eye@Cult Labs 6th April 2012 04:07 PM

There are some great kills in Laid to Rest.

That particular one is also my favourite.

pedromonkey 6th April 2012 04:17 PM

that's an incredibly well done scene considering the budget and the fact there's not cut away, shame nobody did that to her in Game Of Thrones.

The poker murder from PATRICK STILL LIVES is brilliant in it's offensiveness.

Any pics Pete?

Pete 6th April 2012 04:21 PM

Unfortunately no, I sold my dvd about a year ago. Shame as it's one of the sleaziest death scenes I've ever seen. It'd never pass the BBFC.

I haven't - although I've heard it's supposed to be pretty good.

That is the sequel. Well, it's not really a sequel, it's just your typical Italian knock-off.

Very, very sleazy. I fully recommend it

I'm sure I posted a pic from the poker murder a few years ago. I'll see if I can find it.

Yes! There's more to it than that though - you actually see a close up of it penetrating her.

That FX in that scene (and indeed the whole film) piss all over modern CGI.

Agree 100%

I was going to order this from the screenshots on that site as it looks really good and sleazy, however Amazon's prices start at £18 used.

If you do find a reasonably priced copy make sure it's uncut as SS also released a cut version.

There is hardly any difference between the cover for both editions:
