The majority of films we discuss on here are, to be truthful, badly made shite.

It (The Horror genre esp) can be quite depressing at times, wading through so much crap trying to find another favourite, it's no wonder so many of us watch the same films time and time again.

This is a tough one! I probably don't have a single over all favourite, but I sure do have favourites... also not think this thread is kind of sadistic?

So to mention a few of my favourite death/kill scenes... I've got to say this one! Not read all the thread, but I'm sure someone has mentioned it - The Burning, and the raft scene. Actually there's some good kills in The Burning which I like. Hmmm, let's thing of a few others..

House by the Cemetery where the babysitter gets her throat cut 3 or 4 times!

The New York Ripper and the infamous razor blade kill scene

The Toolbox Murders nailgun scene

There's lots more but I can never remember when I need to!

One of my favourites is in a Lars von Trier film, but as it's a major part of the plot........

You hit the nail on the head there.I haven't been buying too many horror films recently as I think I've almost got all the films I really love in my collection already. There's an awful lot of crap out there which I wouldn't dream of wasting my time watching.
