Is that the one with Terror in the Aisles as a bonus in the second disc? If so, it's a MUST purchase for me as I haven't seen it since I was a nipper.

Meatball Machine is a Japanese sci-fi gore flick. The director was also the writer behind the Samurai zombie flick Versus.
I don't want to give too much away as it's the kind of film you want to watch cold and react to it with a

Let's just say it's something like a cross between Tetsuo, Robot Jox and The Thing

Bad Biology was Frank Basket Case Henenlotter's last film. It's only a 15 certificate, but it has one of the most outrageous plots I've ever come across. Utterly hilarious and a huge recommend if you like extreme sex-themed horror - even Cronenberg wouldn't have thought up something like this

Cheers bud! I love Versus, so I should really enjoy Meatball Machine. Ditto for BB as I've always enjoyed FH's films, even Basket Case 2 and 3!

That makes two of us. The one that really comes to mind is The Thing with Two Heads starring Rosey Grier. That looks jaw-dropping. The bit where they are going round the track on a scrambler motor bike (with a pillion passenger) is completely insane!

I got the AWE release. I liked it but it's not scary or anything. It's a bit like "They live", psychological effect.

As for over the top but not too offensive, i don't think you can leave out Fulci's City of the living dead! I mean seriously, the regurgitation, the head drilling... awesome scenes to be shared with.. LOL!
