It, the Stand and Salems Lot all worked well for me. The shining of course is a favorite film of all time along with newer ones like 1408 and the Mist

However the miniseries suffered by low budgets and cheap effects. We watch all of it to see a bad puppet spider. Big let down. We watch all of the Stand to see a cgi hand that looks like the blur national lottery hand and then there's The Langoliers. Throughout the film were told about them and then when we see them there the worst crimes of bad CGI which looks like someones designed them in paint.

I really have a soft spot for The Dark Half. Timothy Hutton gives a great double peformance as Thad Beaumont and his literary creation come to life, George Stark.

I have always thought Needful Things was a good movie, don't know why i never voted for it.

Critics always say there are only 3/4 good King movies. Looking at the list i would say there are about 25 of them.

Needful Things and The Dark Half are also good films.

I also enjoyed SOMETIMES THEY COME BACK as well.

Anyone seen Dolan's Cadillac?

Compared to the fantastic short story,it pales in comparison.:(

I haven't. Being a Christian Slater fan, I really should. I also enjoyed Nightmares And Dreamscapes, especially after reading The Road Virus Heads North, and Autopsy Room Four, from Everything's Eventual.

as stated on the relevant thread, i recently watched Franco's Jack the Ripper via lovefilm, when it finished up came the "like this film" bit which had one title....Shawshank!!:laugh::laugh: apart from the fact they both have THE in the title, couldnt see any other connection:lol:
