I bought Faceless on DVD. (Ordered from the U.S.)

About 10 minutes in to it the disc freezes and won't play.

I emailed the seller and they reimbursed me.

I said I'd prefer another copy of the movie.

And they sent me an email saying only 'it appears to be a manufacturing fault'.

But I've just checked on Amazon and the (usually reliable) seller is still selling it.

I have the Faceless DVD but I've never watched the film in full. I did spot check it though, and there didn't appear to be any problems. I suppose that it is possible that your DVD player doesn't like the disc.

Faceless and freezing, I've known that experience a few times during my lifetime!

But I digress, back to Jess and his weird and wonderful world of surreal cinema.

It's a mastering error and was fixed on later pressings but, unfortunately, there's no way knowing if you're going to get the faulty disc or the corrected one.

When bought in the Eurotrash set it is probably the correct version. At least mine was.

Mine wasn't.

I bought another copy a year later and again got a faulty one!
