Horrible Ways To Die
 

With a title like A Horrible Way To Die, it seems logical to start an accompanying thread to find out what members think is the most horrible death in cinema.

Not the most gory or your favourite, but the one where you had to look away or turn the film off for five minutes to catch your breath...

Personally, it's the curbing in American History X. I just can't stand the thought of it. Writing about it is making me feel shaky.

Bathtime castration in I Spit On Your Grave. Having your Johnson sliced off and left to bleed to death is pretty horrible if you ask me. It freaks me out every time I watch it. I don't know why I keep subjecting myself to it, it's even more repugnant in HD!

Self-inflicted I know but for some reason the scissors in the mouth from Dead Zone always makes me cringe.

The zombies pulling the soldiers head off in DAY OF THE DEAD, his high pitched scream as they dig through his vocal cords is the most horrible thing ever.

Always thought the opening bit in Damien: Omen II was pretty horrible, when the two guys get buried alive in the underground chamber underneath all that sand. Saying that, nobody gets a good deal in that film. Lift cables, trains, freezing water, ravens, trucks, daggers.... nasty!
