Couldn't agree more, not even the Candyman himself could save it.

But he was the only good thing in the film. And it was the only decent scene as well.

I'm the complete opposite, because I never saw what the big deal about Carrie was. I thought it was the slowest, most boring film ever. It was almost like watching a Stephen King novel!

I posted earlier on this thread saying that one of my personal scariest moments as a young kid was Zelda from Pet Sematary, well he she is in the new Blu Ray due out very soon!

The Blair Witch Project is a very polarising film and it now almost seems 'cool' to find it boring – who wants to disagree with Family Guy?!

Vampix, Rik and Prince_Vajda like this.

It's fair to say that after a few weeks on here a) your film collection with double b) you'll find out about films you've never heard of or seen c) you will probably buy everything recommended(except Grease 2, sorry Stephen) d) you'll regret joining because you will have no money, ever!

You should check out Pet Sematary though and definitely TCM that you said you hadn't seen on a different thread

Definitely the hallway scene from The Exorcist 3, I've yet to see the full film but made the mistake of watching that clip (after it was mentioned on here) on Youtube with headphones on and the volume nearly at full blast

I'd also say the burried alive scene from The Vanishing, not because it's a "make you jump" moment but because the thought of being buried alive is nightmarish.

And this isn't a film moment but this scene from Armchair Thriller shook me up quite badly when I first saw it on the Channel 4 scariest moments countdown from a few years ago:

Although after watching it back, it does look quite silly.
