Default RIP Robert Fuest

It seems that Robert Fuest, director of such cult classics as "The Abominable Dr. Phibes" (1971), "Dr. Phibes Rises Again" (1972), "The Final Programme" (aka The Last Days of Man on Earth) (1973), "And Soon the Darkness" (1970), and "The Devil's Rain" (1975) has died

A brilliant director: very sad news indeed.

I loved the Phibes films, plus And Soon the Darkness was a favourite of mine.

A very tense and atmospheric film indeed.

Needless to say I haven't seen the needless remake....

Sad news indeed and I enjoyed a great many of his films (and still do). The Phibes films are particular highlights.
