Hahahaha. Brilliant.

I quite like this one too, in spite of the extremely dodgy FX work. I loved the story when I first read it and it does work better in written form. The idea of creatures eating up time behind you is inspired and silly all at the same time. But I like that about it. It doesn't translate perfectly to film, but I enjoy it all the same. It's better than the dire Secret Window at any rate, another one adapted from a King short story (not that King actually knows what a short story is, his short stories are longer than most novels).

Of the list (except Turbulence which I haven't seen), I'd say only Final Destination is rubbish.

Flight Plan wasn't great but it was watchable.

The others are all decent fun, or pretty damned excellent in the case of Altitude.

Red Eye is the best thing Craven has done since Wes Craven's New Nightmare, a long time ago.

I rather like Final Destination, thank you very much.

There's a difference between saying 'I think it's rubbish' to an absolute statement of 'it is rubbish', which is the assertion that all other opinions are invalid. I know, I know, I'm being a pedant again. Semantics schemantics.

I always just presume it's obvious that I mean "I think" because it's me writing it and that's how people talk. It's a bit much having to add "I think" or "in my opinion" to everything, surely?

Sorry for any confusion.

I just re-read what I wrote - I even put "I'd say"!

Sorry, mate - my post was a bit tongue-in-cheek and I even admitted I was splitting hairs. The perils of internet posting! Hope I didn't cause any offence.

I agree. It was far more entertaining than I expected it to be. I also think it was probably a far better film than it had any right to be, but it just seemed to work.

I quite like all airplane horror films. I've seen all the ones listed for the poll except Altitude and enjoyed them all.

Films like the Airport series whilst not being horror are still scary, especially for the passengers.

Such a confined space and at such a height means you don't really need zombies. Especially if you see Steven Seagal plummeting past the wing.
