How about Goke, Body Snatcher from Hell and Survive! ? Not that they're my favorites though as I prefer it when the horror takes place on an airplane in flight. Last edited by bdc; 5th July 2012 at 08:43 PM. |

I really like the final segment of Twilight Zone: The Movie with a brilliantly overwrought John Lithgow as a fearful flyer trying to convince the cabin crew that there's a plane-wrecking gremlin hanging off their wing.I believe it's a remake of an earlier black and white Twilight Zone episode with William Shatner in the Lithgow role. It's the best segment in the movie IMO.

And how about Alive? That sequence with the plane crash put me off flying for life. Nor horror, but it's still truly horrifying. Plus, later in the film, there's cannibalism. So, there's horrific content, if not a horror film. But if you want horror, how about Nightmare City? That all starts with a plane. And just watch, how many ****ing zombies come out of the plane? Surely there's not enough room...? Class entertainment all the same. And we all know, as Lenzi himself has said, that Nightmare City has been remade....as Philadelphia! Yes, I'm serious, he says it in an interview (on the Shriek Show Black Demons disc, I think). Something to do with a deadly virus getting out of control. I mean, c'mon Umberto, that's a tenuous link at best (and to compare NC with HIV is a bit dim). I'm pretty sure Tom Hanks and Denzel Washington didn't think 'We'd better watch Nightmare City to get a feel of what this is all about.'
