Default You Know You're A Horror Fan When........

....you're at your son's school. The kids start singing "London Bridge is falling down.." and you think "Silver Shamrock!" a la Halloween 3.

When has your love of horror cropped up in an unlikely scenario?

Exactly what I think every time I hear that!

You know when......your twin's nursery teacher says 'So this is the dad who teaches his son the Zombie Flesh Eaters tune.....'

I had a cat called Raimi. Beats Tiddles as a name for your cat any day.

This one worked best in the "vhs days":

You know you're a horror fan when...

...you find yourself paying (what would in this day and age equal the amount of) about 75-80 Euros for a worn out ex-rental vhs of a "nasty" like "Anthropophagus"- in Italian WITHOUT any subs!

On a similar note, "You remember when The Scala in London hosted weekend-long horror festivals and not music events".

It really irritates you when someone says things like " oh that Friday the 13th movie was so scary with that Micheal Myers killing all those kids !"

or when you walk in the house announcing that you just bought a great movie someone in the room groans, " Not another zombie/GORE/slasher movie ?!?"

If there is a zombie outbreak, vampire crisis , or demon infestation you're positive you would know exactly what to do to kill them or at the very least survive.

Rock on horror fans!
