Some films I'm in two minds to buy or not,
Sometimes there can be to many sequels are the films get silly or pointless or just there as cash ins,

Do some people collect these films for completion or are they actually any good,

Halloween
Friday 13th
Nightmare on elm street
Hellraiser
Children of the corn

A mate had a real fixation with acquiring any COTC films he could get....completism is a different thing to merely "liking" a certain genre I find, but sometimes they can go hand in hand ala my Dick obssession

That's Philip K Dick btw

I like all the films in each of those series' except Children of the Corn as I've only seen the first one.
Each series has a weak film, some have more than one eg
Halloween Resurrection
F13 5,8, Final Friday
NOES 2, Freddys Dead
Hellraiser 5-8, Revelations isn't half bad actually although it does have an overweight Pinhead in it

Every now and again i see people on here with great editions of films limited / special editions reg ? but not 2 the british region fantastic covers completely uncut with added extras that the so called uncut british versions dont have etc that are way better than the average version available freely in standard shops..and i think i wouldnt mind that version edition etc.
To be honest i havent bought any books or mags to read upon these things and to be totaly truthful i get bored very easy reading or lose interest very quick so hence i dont do my homework properly.
And Rewind isnt always that correct or reliable to read and giving correct information.
Apart from rewind and bbfc what other decent sites is there to learn from..
And without taking offence it also easier to ask people who know these things and answers than to do some research.
So apart from Amazon and Ebay what are people favourite sites to buy films from without breaking the bank account or paying sillly prices.
Thanks for reading and any help and info what so ever will be much apreciated.

Ley Lines is the third film in Takashi Miike's Black Society Trilogy following Shinjuku Triad Society and Rainy Dog (both were available from Tartan). I think there were three sequels to Dead or Alive (again all released by Tartan). I am not aware of any of the other films being part of sequences (except Public Enemy which you already seem to have the sequelAnother Public Enemy).

Wasnt 2046 a "sort of" sequel to In The Mood For Love?? AAnyhow......

You have a fair amount there gag, some Korean, some Japanese, some HK, some occidental etc. Lady Vengeance is part of the Vengeance Trilogy....which comprises of Sympathy for Mr Vengeance, LV and Oldboy btw.

Dead or Alive has two sequels. Wishing Stairs is linked to Whispering Corridors and another film. You can get them in a boxset, I don't think theyre sequels but connected some how. Been years since i seen em.
