another film which I don't see much luv for is Soloman Kane,I think James Purefoy cornish accent wins it for me

Great thread... This is not really Horror but I never seeing it getting any love, so I'm gonna mention Tobe Hooper's hugely enjoyable remake of Invaders from Mars. There's a great moment in the film where Jimmy Hunt, the child terrorized by the aliens in the 1953 film pops up as a middle-aged cop patrolling the backyard under which the marsians are buried under, and says "I haven't been up here since I was a kid"

Solomon kane is fantastic, a very underrated film.

I enjoyed "Soloman Kane" too, even as a Robert E. Howard purist. Of no interest to anyone I'd imagine but Soloman Kane was on my list of names to give the then unborn boy MTDS. Conan was on it too. Of course Mrs MTDS refused due to having a womb or something like that and picked his name.

Yeah thats very true,whenever he says that in the film you just know its gonna kick off,sadly not much has changed around these parts

Personally If i'd been named Soloman Kane I would have spent every day thanking my parents for giving me such a kick-ass name!

I would put together a petition to get a series of Soloman Kane films made but i get the feeling it would have only three signatures
