For some reason I still seem to enjoy it. I must be mental. |

Great thread... This is not really Horror but I never seeing it getting any love, so I'm gonna mention Tobe Hooper's hugely enjoyable remake of Invaders from Mars. There's a great moment in the film where Jimmy Hunt, the child terrorized by the aliens in the 1953 film pops up as a middle-aged cop patrolling the backyard under which the marsians are buried under, and says "I haven't been up here since I was a kid" (the fantastic artwork attached is from the Japanese laserdisc)

I enjoyed "Soloman Kane" too, even as a Robert E. Howard purist. Of no interest to anyone I'd imagine but Soloman Kane was on my list of names to give the then unborn boy MTDS. Conan was on it too. Of course Mrs MTDS refused due to having a womb or something like that and picked his name.

James Purefoy I would put together a petition to get a series of Soloman Kane films made but i get the feeling it would have only three signatures |
