The Hunger for me. Given the love some other Vampire flicks get, it always puzzles me why The Hunger is shunned so bad.

Anthropophagus is also a masterpiece imo.
And i'd rather watch this than a lot of recent horrors tbh.

Night of the Demon (1980)
This film is generally regarded as entertaining trash, but I actually find the ending of it quite mean spirited and disturbing.It's the way the Bigfoot creature just mercilessly kills everyone in the cabin (apart from the guy who's face gets fried on the hotplate).
