Ive never undestood the hatred for the hills have eyes 2, the only thing i really dont like is that they introduced a big brother character who never existed in the first film when they should have just broguht back one of the other killers as well as pluto, other than that i find the film reasonsbly good although not a patch on the first.

I also cant understand the hatrd for nightmare on elm street 2 which is my second favourite film in the series. I cant stand parts 4-6 but 2 ive always liked.

It's easily one of the most incompetent horror sequels ever made.

2 is my fourth favourite behind 1, 3 & NN. 4 & 5 are middling and 6 and the remake are just awful.

Just spent the evening watching an andy Milligan film closely followed by a Bill Zebub documentary King of the B movies, which included the controversial Stereotypes don't just disappear into thin air.. I admit I enjoyed myself.

It's not universal, but I've never understood the disdain I've seen thrown at Fright Night Part II. One of my all-time favourite movies, to be honest I prefer it to the first one - its just as effective in the scares, but it's funnier, gets Roddy in earlier, has a sexier vampire (sorry Sarandon fans, he's just not my type) and Traci Lin>Amanda Bearse.
Way past time it got an Blu or even an official DVD. I know it's rights s**t, but **** some of the godawful 80s slashers you can get on Blu and you can't even get this on DVD properly. **** you Lionsgate!

I like it when I revisit a film I thought was barley watchable decades ago but now I find myself really digging it... like...

Plan 9 From Outer Space.
Blood of Ghastly Horror.
Alien 3.

to name but 3.

I think the problem people have with it is they watch them both as a double bill within minutes of each other and so judge the sequel by what they just saw, I first saw Demons 2 a year or two after the original, thought it was fine as a sequel.

I also have a penchant for Milligan. Blood and Bloodthirsty Butchers being two of his more entertaining films.

I'd go so far to say that Nightbirds is a masterpiece in its own right (whether you're a fan of Milligan or not).

I too think Milligan is rather good, and if you know anything about his private life, they are classics of the psyche projected onto the silver screen...sort of.

I love Demons 2. I don't think it's as good as Demons, but pretty close.
