The Iron Rose.

Such a simple premise, but with a *wonderful location, that does much of the work for Rollin and Co.

After reading Easy Riders, Raging Bulls, I've been watching (and rewatching) more and more 70's Americana. But the last euro horror was probably Berberian Sound Studio at the flicks a month or so ago. Loved it and can't wait for the Blu. You NEED a good sound system though - or play it loud through headphones as it has great sound design (of course).

Last euro horror I watched was BLACK MAGIC RITES (REINCARNATION OF ISABEL). Bizarre, bonkers, psychadelic, cheesy, slightly gory, more than a little confusing*

*But very enjoyable nonetheless

Sounds great ! I haven't seen a lot of Euro-Cult recently but I'm planning to catch Fulci's Beatrice Cenci during the week. Anyone seen it ?

Oh yes, it's quite wonderful. And another fine showcase for Fulci's non horror/giallo directorial talents.

I've never seen it, but I've only heard great things about it. I'd love to see it.

I wasn't too keen on Beatrice Cenci. It's okay, but it's certainly not Fulci at his best. It's quite dull in places, and despite a decent performance by Adrienne Larussa, it isn't something to return to regularly.

The last Euro flicks I watched were: Demons (the remastered Anchor Bay DVD) and Don't Torture a Duckling (the Shameless DVD).
