Competition Night of the Bloody Apes - UNCUT

Night of the Bloody Apes has gone through the BBFC and passed FULLY UNCUT today. I'm very surprised, it's always previously been cut and considered a proper nasty. Well done to Nucleus Films!

i'm not surprised in the slightest. The acid test for any film as far as the censors go is the likelyhood to deprave/corrupt. Apes is brilliantly stupid and very hard to take seriously. The notion of this one being somehow unnacceptable (heart surgery aside) always baffled me!

I shall be buying nucleus release, love the label to pieces!

Always loved the part during one of the "attacks" where the victim falls and uncovers part of the studio floor (its supposed to be in a wood)
Will buy if it has the original UK cover....now that's exploitation haha

I too have the Redemption disc.

I didn't know that Mark,very interesting!
What happened there?
Redemption pull a flanker?

I'm sure Marc Morris's Nucleus was in line to pick this up.
If that's so,I think we can expect a nice package as usual!

Edit....just read the bbfc site!
