A suggestion for Shock Just a suggestion, Shock / Fremantle could put trailers for the Prisoner releases on their Twilight Zone releases. Or put Prisoner DVD adverts in the Twilight Zone DVD boxes. Many DVD companies do this. It could also work the other way round, with Twilight Zone ads in the Prisoner releases. It should help to make their releases more popular. :) |

Thankyou. :) |
It would probably cost more money for them as all they do at the moment is copy what has already been done and if they have to add adverts it would involve more work!..and who likes having to watch adverts every time they put a dvd in..not me!..some dvds you can't skip them either If you mean as a dvd extra where you can choose to view them..maybe so but it would involve changing the menu's that have already been designed etc |
I definately meant as a trailer that was optional to watch. Certainly didn't mean as an advert you had to sit through. However, after posting, I remembered that the UK release is exactly the same as the Australian release. So I think the other idea I wrote in the same post is a more likely idea: To include a paper advert in the DVD boxes. The paper would be roughly post card size. In the Twilight Zone boxes it would say "Also available from Shock: Prisoner Cell Block H" with pictures of the DVD(s) And in the Prisoner boxes it would have the same for The Twilight Zone. I think this is called cross-pollination advertising. I think it would be relatively cheap to do and would work a treat! |
There could be slight variations on the adverts. Imagine opening up your copy of The Twilight Zone and there's a leaflet inside saying Shock present another cult legend... Prisoner Cell Block H. :coolblue: |
I saw the Cult Labs advert in the current issue of Bizarre magazine. It was good to see a full page colour ad for Cult Labs on the back of my favourite magazine. :coolblue: |
