HEAT 1, SEASON 1: Mr Denton on Doomsday VS The After Hours
 

This is a tough one. Two very strong episodes.

There's so much to like about both. I love the poetic opening of Mr Denton on Doomsday, and there are some lovely speeches by Dan Duryea playing Denton too.

The After hours is a wonderful piece of fantasy. Eerie, but it's also interesting to note there's nothing to fear in the end.

Tough one, but my vote goes to Mr Denton on Doomsday.

Denton on Doomsday is a classic episode, however my vote is going to After Hours.

Both good episodes, but the eeriness of After Hours just clinches it for me.

Two excellent episodes and if there was an option for 'both' I'd go for that but, as it's a choice between the two, I'm going to go for The After Hours -- just!

This a tough match-up, but for me Mr Denton on Doomsday just wins it.
