As for custom charges I'm not too sure but some other knowledgeable cult labber will help out with this answer .....
The limit for import duty is £15 excluding postage and packing so, because your purchase (according to Google) works out at about £11.50, you should be safe from importunity. Also, I haven't had any DVD or BD of an uncut film which has been cut by the BBFC seized by HMRC so, again, you should be okay on that front as well.

No it's a blind buy.

Being Barbara Steele it's more a slightly glazed buy rather than blind buy.

Burke and Hare is to replace the godawful UK version.

I liked 'The Butterfly room' too, love Barbara Steele and i thought it was pretty well done and has other horror actors in other roles, notably Heather Langencamp, let us know what you make of it.

I think it was your review that tempted me.

It's a foreign release but has an english audio version of the film, extra's probably unwatchable to me but i can live with that for £1.
Been meaning to get this for a while, had a few beers earlier and watching it now, still completely mental, a audio/visual assault on the senses.

Also was given this from work because they couldn't find the case, used to watch it as a kid. Dodgy but fun in a nostalgic messed up kinda way.
Saw this myself for the first time recently - decidedly mixed feelings - some amazing images and satire but Jodorowskys use of animals as expendable props and his use of deformed/disabled people as signifiers of 'weird' really began to grate on me. The toad massacre scene summed it up - from inspired to unwatchable in five minutes.

I'm with you on the animal use, i can deal with and enjoy the rest of the films content, but find some of these moments hard to deal with or justify.
