As a general rule, I try and stay away from making overtly negative posts, but I really must confess to hating everything RZ has done so far, especially that absolute p.o.s. Halloween remake of his.

I enjoyed House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects.I haven't seen Zombie's Halloween remake or its sequel.I'll definitely give The Lords of Salem a go as it sounds interesting.

Smart move..go directly to Lords of Salem..steer far far away from those Halloween films. Soooo much sadness

I've it to admit that I don't like anything of his I've seen. I haven't seen Halloween 2 but the first one missed the point of the original with unnecessary backstory (the point of Myers is that he's pure inexplicable evil, no?) so much I doubt I'd ever bother. I thought House of 1000 Corpses was a poor Texas Chain Saw Massacre attempt and The Devil's Rejects was a terrible Manson Family-idolising mess. That said I am curious about Lords of Salem so might seek it out.

Default Rob Zombie.

Love him or hate him, and he is certainly a divisive director. Rob Zombie is one of the most discussed film makers of recent times with films ranging from the Texas Chainsaw like House of 1000 Corpses to his re-imagining of John Carpenter's classic Halloween.

So here's a thread to chat about all things Zombie.

I thought there already was a RZ thread?

Anyway, I'm a fan of all his films, and some of his music too

Me too. I noticed Anythinggoes earlier post so went to merge it into a Zombie thread. I searched through the Horror Today and Horror Directors sections but never noticed one.
