The Slumber Party Massacre (1982, Amy Jones)

A return viewing of this most suburban of the slashers after that gutless BC redo, as I needed to get that out of my head, and this one is a split, half empowerment/ half PTSD at the end.
The oldest "girls" in town decide to through a shindig together. Strictly no guys etc. Pity a local "celebrity" is roaming the area cough. A hoot. The dialogue is strictly corn beef, just as well, as the cast all get carved up good and proper.
The goils don't think much of the new kid, but looks can be deceiving .... from the opening basketball hilarity to the gory climax, this entertained me in a way that new piece of fluff just could not.
