A true legend of the genre. Sad to hear. Rest in peace. |

In a situation like this it is very difficult to find the words of how this man has entwined his existence with mine. So much of who and what I am is down to the likes of Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee, Bela Lugosi,Vincent Price, Boris Karloff, Lon Chaney et al. Without these amazing people in my life I would not be who I am today and be on a site like this with such interesting and like minded folk. When Peter and Vincent passed away I knew that one day the last of the three modern greats would one day go too and we would all feel like this. What a legacy he has left and I feel privileged to have grown up in his era. R.I.P Mr Lee a_tribute_to_christopher_lee_by_monsterartist-d3gvqlj.jpg

One of Christopher Lee's films that freaked me out as a kid one late Friday night, with my Nan snoring at the other end of the sofa. Still think it has an unsettling feel to it. 'Horror Express'......such good memories. horror express.jpg 51LHVjIpk7L.jpg
