Totally gutted. A TRUE legend has gone. RIP Lord Summerisle and MANY thanks for the countless hours of entertainment you gave us.

When i saw him kicking arse in The Hobbit along side the council of elrond i was practically out of my seat punching the air with excitment, i remember saying to my partner that i expect Lee would live forever. Someone else said it here before me but i am also glad he took the role in The Hobbit and that the filming was completed, he only had a small part but it was epic. profondo rosso likes this.

Sad day. However he was 92 and by all accounts lived every day of it. Not a bad innings at all. I'm going to watch funnyman Make Them Die Slowly and profondo rosso like this. |

Just wish he would have made the ton, at 93 he was the last classic horror star going, I bet Peter met him at the pearly gates with a brandy  (even Count Dracula has to go sometime) R.I.P.
