Default Herschell Gordon Lewis: THE Godfather of Gore!

I thought I'd start a thread about the man himself, yes, the man who made horror bloody, the godfather of gore, Mr. Herschell Gordon Lewis!!!!

What are your favourite films of his? From the one's I've seen, I luv his work to bits!

So get voting guys!

Here are all the films he's directed (according to IMDb anyways!)

Quite a few 60/70s exploitation/horror directors are comming back into the light - first HGL, then Ted V. Mikels - pretty cool!

I know many would and will probably give me hell for my choice, and Herschell himself denounced the movie saying that he doesn't even consider it his, but I had the most fun with Blood Feast 2.

You can't go wrong with his classics, and The Gore Gore Girls probably being my favorite one, but still out of everything I've probably watched BF2 the most.

Well I'm holding back my vote for now as I'm just starting to watch his films. Only seen "Blood Feast" and "The Gore Gore Girls" so far.

Blood Feast and The Gore Gore Girls are probably my two favourites. The Wizard of Gore bored me senseless.

He's like the ASDA SMART PRICE or TESCO VALUE brand-very cheap and plenty of gristle!
