Mattei's film's are more fun than his budget should allow for, so the guy's gotta have talent.

Dario Argento is my favourite horror director because his films as so stylish and interesting. Sergio Martino is a close second.
I don't really have a worst director.

Fave: Lucio Fulci for just going all out and having one of the darkest sense of humours in the business and his unerring ability of producing genuine shocks.

Least fave: Rob Zombie for his lack of originality. He's a very dull film maker with a fine line in generic genre film making.

Since I first posted on this thread David Cronenberg has been joined by Michael and Roberta Findlay as all time faves. Not to everyone's taste but if you forgive them "Snuff" and go back to their 60s films a whole world of go go dancing murder and mayhem awaits.

I love the uber-gory cheesefest that is Cannibal Ferox, but I also find Lenzi's barking mad Nightmare City just as much fun.
