Just watched Nightmare City last night and thought it was not bad. Some really funny scenes in it, especially with the dancing tv show.

Need to pick up Eaten Alive and Black Demons.

Black Demons really devides people, well... not really; but I like to think it does as I'm one of the few who actually enjoys it! Ha.

For a Jess Franco fanatic you sure have a questionable idea of 'taste' yourself!

Yeah, see all you mainstream movie critics?! 28 Days Later wasn't the first horror film to give us fast moving 'zombies'! Lenzi beat Danny Boyle to the punch years earlier!

I absolutely love NC. A prime example of 'so-bad-it's-good' Italian exploitation and this energetic effort does have some legit saving graces in the form of Hans Burman's suitably doom-laden synth score, an exciting final reel and a barrage of 'zombie' assaults. There's never a dull moment in NC.

It also beat Zombieland to the punch by having it's showdown in a themepark!

You have to love the make-up for the movie too - they look like bee-hive zombies!

A lovely cover on the British pre-cert video release.

I recall George Eastman playing the bad guy (looking rather daft wearing some sort of animal hide or fur.) in Lenzi's cut-price Conan cash-in and 'Sam Daniels' was the film's hero with a formidable but synthetic looking physique. Somewhat resembling rubber muscles covered in cling film!

Just remember "Aim for the brain!"!

There's also a damn dangerous moment during the TV studio slaughter scene where some 'zombies' break into the room bearded hero Hugo Stiglitz and some others are holed up in. When the radiation-ridden ravagers enter the area Stiglitz hurls a TV set at them and said appliance then explodes in flames very close to one or two of the fried faced assailants.
