Django Unchained was so great it's all i can think about.
can't wait to see it again sometime this week.
one thing i really loved about it was it has the biggest character arc in any tarantino film with Django
and it's really great because he's even more badass than the man with no name.
he's also my favorite tarantino character Calvin is my second favorite.
greatest western ever.

Django Unchained Movie Review: Spike Lee is Wrong to Criticize Quentin Tarantino

My oh my, Lee really hates Tarantino. Thoughts and opinions on this?

Personally, I feel that people have the right to voice opinions, but I'm unwilling to listen to them if they are criticising what they haven't seen.

Yeah that's totally lame. Seems like he's using the new film to grind his axe more. At least watch the film and put forward an intelligent argument about it.

I only like too of Spike Lees films, yet I like all but one of Tarantino's so his opinion is completely irrelevant to me

I've actually seen none of his films tbh, but even if I had, I still wouldn't take his view seriously as he's being all Mary Whitehouse/Daily Mail about it by judging a film he hasn't even seen.

Which too ?

Do The Right Thing alone makes him alright in my book. I'm not interested in filmmaker spats as long as they both continue to make good films . . .

Never seen Malcolm X Enjoyed Summer of Sam though - seemed like Spike was chanelling Scorsese the way it was shot and edited!

You seen Do The Right Thing ? One of my all time favourites. Fight the power Clockers is another good one, and I have a lot of time for Inside Man. One of those I end up watching to the end when it frequently pops up on ITV2 . . .
