about Jean-Luc Godard

“Someone like Jean-Luc Godard is for me intellectual counterfeit money when compared to a good kung-fu film.”

about Abel Ferrara

“I have no idea who Abel Ferrara is. But let him fight the windmills… I’ve never seen a film by him. I have no idea who he is. Is he Italian? Is he French? Who is he?”

I love Herzog. He is the only reason I will give the Jack Reacher movie a watch, to be honest.

I loved it when he was on Kermode and Mayo on Radio 5 and he told Kermode:

"I think you may be...intellectually warped".

Not exactly a director, more a producer and writer, but don't forget the number of films that Stan Lee has appeared in

Amongst others are:

X-Men
Spider-man
Daredevil
Hulk
X2
Spider-man 2
Fantastic Four
X-Men: The Last Stand
Spider-man 3
The Incredible Hulk
Thor
Captain America
Avengers Assemble
The Amazing Spider-man

It isn't a Marvel comic book adaptation so my favourite Stan Lee appearance is in Mallrats.
