I agree. Torso does have it's moments but there are superior giallo entries out there imo.

2019:After The Fall Of New York must surely rank among the best Italian post-apocalypse productions. Female villain Anna Kanakis is very easy on the eye and who could forget George Eastman as 'Big Ape'?!

Has anyone here seen Mozart is a Murderer?
The last giallo he made but I liked it.

I'll always hold TORSO dear!

Loops and I don't agree on this one...so we'll leave it at that.

Still haven't watched my All Colours....any good?

In fact Martino films in the 'to watch' pile include;

ALL COLOURS OF THE DARK
MANNAJA A MAN CALLED BLADE
BIG ALLIGATOR RIVER
GAMBLING CITY

Before I buy BLADE OF THE RIPPER,does anyone know if this is Case of the Scorpion's Tail under a different title?

I enjoyed Torso too. My favourite Martino film by far.

It's another title for The Strange Vice Of Mrs Wardh.

I definitely enjoy Martino's Giallo's which are every bit as good as the entries by Bava and Argento etc IMO. As are Lenzi's contributions.

And let's not forget the sordid affair that is Mountain of the Cannibal God. In spite of the unnecessary animal cruelty (and it's more tasteless and pointless than anything served up by Deodato and Lenzi) it's a rollicking good adventure yarn. And that soundtrack needs a CD release!

I love Torso.

My favourite Martino (of what I've seen anyway) is probably Your Vice is a Locked Room and Only I have the Key. Superb stuff - and not only because of Ms Fenech either...
