"God Told Me To" is an amazing film and along with the rest of Cohen's work tends not to get the recognition that it deserves.

I have a very soft spot for his "A Return To Salem's Lot", also enjoyed "Q" and "Ambulance" as well as his "MOH" episode...

He's got a particular sense of humour I really like too plus I like his favourite lead Michael Moriarty in all the above mentioned flicks (bar "Ambulance") .

I've loved the two Cohen/Moriarty ones I've seen (Q and The Stuff). I'd say Black Caesar is by far the weakest of the bunch, but there's still a lot of his stuff I've yet to see - which other titles star Moriarty . . .?

I'm a big fan of Larry Cohen's work and want to watch all the films I haven't yet seen - Bone is currently on a shelf with scores of other unwatched discs. One of my lecturers at uni wrote her Ph.D. thesis on Larry Cohen's films and is something I would have loved to have read.

Cohen is a legend. These are 2 of my favourites he's been involved with:

Moriarty is a great actor. Cohen's films tend to have really good casts.

Watched a couple of his films for the first time over the last month. - The Stuff, which has a better reputation than it actually deserves, and Special Effects, a thriller which was a pretty good murder mystery with Eric Bogosian.

I LOVE Larry Cohen. I have a section devoted to him in my video store, and I regard him to be the ultimate renegade filmmaker ! I love his commentaries, especially when he talks about how he shot loads of specific scenes without a permit and blagged the NY police when they stopped and questioned him.

Uncle Sam I think is underrated, as is Best Seller. Also a deep nod of appreciation is destined his way for creating the excellent excellent sci-fi series The Invaders.

Fantastic director. I try and pick up everything he's made.

Anyone know if the ambulance is available?
