I used to be ages ago but forgot my login details and couldn't retrieve them. Have tried to register again but registration is closed and you have to send an e-mail to become registered. Tried this several times but never had a response.

Folk are still posting on a regular basis (although it's mostly with bad news these days) and the front page is updated from time to time.

It's a shame as there are some interesting discussions from time to time.

I'd have to go back and watch it again to be honest. Saying that, I've watched it only once so that might be all you need to know of my opinion.

Yeah, I haven't ventured into the murkey waters of post-Opera Argento... well that's not strictly true, I saw most of Sleepless and it was y'know, okay... which is no praise when it comes to an Argento film...

The opening scene of Sleepless is fantastic. Just a shame it doesn't manage to live up entirely to that early promise. I would pick it up if it appeared on Blu Ray with a good transfer. Will wait to see what the German release PQ is like. Too expensive for a risky pre-order though.

Nope, haven't seen it, or Stendhal Syndrome either... Argento, Carpenter, Romero all took spectacular nose dives in recent years - I guess you cannot sustain such a level of brilliance, although having said that, Robert Altman made great films up to his death...

How do you know if you haven't seen any?

Make up your own mind, rather than listening to others.

You can't be defending the Card Player?
Stendhal Syndrome however is pretty good.
