Fingers crossed. The back cover (which you can see on Amazon Italy and blu-raydotcom) makes no mention of them. Apparently the same labels House on the Edge of the Park blu-ray had English subs even though the cover made no mention of them. As soon as my copy arrives from Amazon Italy, I'll have a look with the subtitle button on my player's remote.

Italian Dark Glasses blu-ray arrived. I'm pleased to report that, despite no mention on the back cover,it does have English subtitles. They're listed in the set-up menu and definitely appear on the playing film.

Enjoyed Dark Glasses. A friend of mine thinks it's the best Argento film since Stendhal. Dunno about that but it's easily the best since Card Player. Massive improvement over Giallo and Dracula!! Would need to rewatch to properly assess the film (which I will be doing on Monday, this time with my wife). I was a bit surprised by how bloodless it was, since it had an extremely graphic opening. Lead actress gives excellent performance successfully portraying both strength and vulnerability. Also her relationship with the young boy was quite touching. I can recommend the film. Considering that it was very low budget, I'm quite happy with the end product. And I am really glad that there was English subtitles as there was quite a lot of dialogue (btw the sole five minute extra doesn't have any).

According to Alan Jones in Cannes: "FIVE MORE Dario Argento titles coming to 4K UHD in the US, in the future! Official announcements coming in August!"

RE: Jones' announcement - Doesn't Severin have Five Days of Milan? That's got to be one. Inferno and Opera would be nice.

That Italian Dark Glasses Blu-ray is a pleasing release - I purchased it in hope of it having English subs and was rewarded. Also bought the Italian 4K House of Gucci as it's only been released on UHD in Italy and Sweden.

Black Glasses

Yes, it's a world away from Dracula. But it was all a tad pedestrian imho. At no point did I think that DA was behind the camera. Whether this is all post Northman "ptsd" remains to be seen. I always try and watch films at least twice to make sure (initially) so hold that thought ahem.
