I had to vote for Inferno i just love all of the scenes , the alchemy , the witches , the cat throwing , the underwater lair , the colours and the whole overall atmosphere ....i understand Suspiria is probably his greatest achievement but Inferno is one that i just have a personal preference for

Just ordered 3 Argento's that although I love are red haired stepchildren by many fans.

Bird With The Crystal Plumage (Ratio doesn't bother me)
The Card Player (under-rated)
Stendahl Syndrome ( this is a fave of mine, I love Asia)

Default deep red

deep red's soundtrack is my favorite, I like his older movies but the new Giallo and Dracula not so great , I liked when he used different colors in the set the new films look like a tv show , but anyways his contribution to film is indisputable, he is still a horror master.

Completely agreed with you there up until Stendahl. Sorry, I hated that one, but I loved Card Player

I have a soft spot for Stendahl. Its just such a beautiful film. I really didn't get into Card Player the first time but it grew on me.

Bit of a different question here folks. What do you think is Argento's LEAST Agrento film if you catch my drift. What movie, if you hadn't known it was from him, would you have genuinly been sruprised to learn it was his due to be so un....Argento?

That's a good question and hard because he has such a unique style that I can usually tell his films right away. First thing that comes to mind is 5 days in Milan..think that's the name of it. But it doesn't come across like him at all.

Even movies like Trauma you can tell he's basically dumbing it down for Americans but it still feels like his style.
