Your right there. Daemonia, ZFE is a unique classic and inspired many European directors to cash in on its sucess with their own efforts, which although none ever bettered it, resulted in some 'fun' gore fests like Burial ground and Zombie creeping Flesh to name but 2.

Not only my all time fav Fulci, but one of my all time favourite films.

No argument there, Vipco. It's a unique film and heralded a new golden age of Italian horror cinema. It's a bit of a shame that Fulci took a bit of a nosedive after the early 80's - but the good films he made were exceptionally good and still stand the test of time.

Thats very true.
I know what you mean about the nosedive, Voices from Beyond was a pretty low point in his career imo. It was hard to believe that the guy responsible for ZFE came up with this.

I'd love to see a Fulci collection make it on to BluRay. I think ZFE in Hi Def would look astonishing.

I must admit to quite liking Demonia and House of Clocks. Not up to his usual standards, but they had the odd flashes of Fulci genius every now and again - and the latter had quite a good story, even if overall it was pretty badly executed.

Well, after finally seeing "Beatrice Cenci", which IS a superb flick and Fulci's own fave, I'd still rate "Duckling" as my personal Nr. 1 Fulci!
"Duckling", SADLY, is a movie not likely to be ever getting the attention it so clearly deserves outside the horror fanbase.

Sodoma's Ghost has a fairly interesting premise, but it's all a bit lazy and amateurish. Having said that, I think it's ok - and is better than Sweet House Of Horrors and Demonia imo.

I have the EC edition which is a bit crap, picture wise. A cleaned up anamorphic edition could make a good addition to the Shameless catalogue...

Four Of The Apocalypse made my good lady blub! (The bit with the baby)

How often can you say that about a Fulci flick?

I saw Zombie Flesh Eaters on the flicks back in the early 80's as part of a double bill (with Toolbox Murders). It was so badly cut that everyone went out and hired the uncut VHS afterwards.
