That's what i found disappointing about the Jess Franco book. The lack of colour photos. Fulci like Franco is a visually stunning director and to be honest black and white photos just won't do in my opinion.


It’s a mixture of both. It’s very much like the Franco book where the chapter pics are B&W but then there are groups of pages, like 10-12 in a row with colour pics and posters of the films in the previous chapter!

I just had a quick look and the chapter covering his early 80s, COTLD to Manhattan Baby has 32 pages of full colour pics after the text. The other chapters have 8 or 10!

It's £25 on Amazon at the moment so thought i might give it a go.

If i read a word a day then i wonder if the Franco book will be out before i finish it?

i am a big fan of Lucio fulci and these are my favorite films that i have listed in order. 1, zombie flesh eaters 2, The beyond 3, City of the livuing dead 4, House by the cemetery 5, the psychic

Have you seen Don't Torture A Duckling?

That is my number 1 fulci film, followed by Zombie. Nice call on The Psychic, that is a great one too.

i like Dont torture a duckling very much to. it has good story and characters. but it is not my top 5. and i never saw conquest, sorry
