Brigitte Lahaie.

I've just come across her name on the IMDB. I have not seen any of her films, but i'm sure I have a copy of The Escapees (given away free with DVD World). What are her films that I should try and pick up first?

One of the most beautiful actresses ever! Check out FACELESS, FASCINATION, NIGHT OF THE HUNTED and all the porn she made :D

I second that, but don't forget her impressive appearence in Rollin's The Grapes of Death.

Greetings!

Doesn't she feature in any Arrow/Shameless releases?

Culture Vulture 5th March 2012 10:37 AM

Btw, an awesome recent film to feature her, if you haven't seen it, is Calvaire - a masterpiece in my opinion. If you haven't seen it you're missing out big time.

Calvaire/The Ordeal is a very, very strange film with some startlingly shocking moments, as well as an understated atmosphere of dread running throughout. This was one film that really did leave me feeling a little unsettled. You'll have no idea whatseoever where the film is leading, and it's best to view the film knowing little or nothing about it. Spoilers really will spoil this film. Don't be tempted to read up on it too much! Just go and watch it. ;)

I got to meet her at one of the fests in the 90's. Held at the French Institute I believe. :)

I have seen a couple of her porn films, the names escape me. All very French golden age stuff, pretty sure one was a period piece but not in that way smutheads.

Demdike@Cult Labs 25th September 2017 11:25 PM

Strange that there are no photos of Brigitte on the thread. Here's a more recent one of her.

I'll leave the smut to the rest of you.

Isn't she a tv/radio sex therapist these days or something similar?

Demoncrat 25th September 2017 11:41 PM

I will always remember the first time I saw her In Fascination on Channel 4. Even though the film bored me rigid then .... THEN MIND YOU  ... she stood out .... like a sexy wraith ;)
The rest is history ....

More to come ....

It would appear so

When she finished her acting career, she became better known to the general public after appearing on the French radio show, Les Grosses TĂȘtes ('The Big Heads'), which was broadcast on RTL. This 2 hour show had a number of regular segments: The first quarter is a hard-hitting news programme, which is then followed by cultural issues. The next 30 minutes has the host taking phone calls from listeners and finally guests are interviewed and joked about

When she left the show, Brigitte recording the single 'Caresse Tendresse', in a failed attempt to start a singing career!

She is currently the host of 'Lahaie, l'Amour et Vous' ('Lahaie, Love and You') which is broadcast on RMC (Radio Monte Carlo). The show airs daily, from 2pm - 4pm and generally deals with topics of love and sexual relations.

In addition, she is a hostess on a French X-rated TV cable-channel talk show and an avid fan of equestrianism, which saw her commentating on the equestrian events at the 2012 London Olympics for RMC!
