Someone's chancing their arm here... Women's Prison Massacre for £912.42 + £1.21 shipping.

Now if it were someone selling RATS for that price, then it might be a bargain.

Dude, that's ridiculous. Isn't that film just a retitling of one of the Black Emanuelle films? You can buy it brand new from Shriek Show for under a tenner.

In fact there was a UK release from Vipco that could be picked up for about a fiver IIRC. Who on Earth is going to pay an amount like that for a film such as this????

E.I. Independent/Retro-Seduction Cinema re-released it last year with a 4:3 version of Caged Women as an extra.

Not a fan of Slater, but if this is true, then maybe it is in reference to Mattei's Sexy Night Report starring Laura Gemser. A mondo-esque sex movie with a series of sexy vignettes. Early on, regular Italian porn actress (who went on to do animal porn) Marina Hedman/Lotar gets horny with a guy in a gorilla costume, then another woman comes on stage and gets saucy with a couple of dogs. The entire doc/film is soft core on my copy, but as I watched it, I couldn't help but wonder if there was a harder version as some scenes ended abruptly...I hope so, anyway. There hasn't been a legit DVD release though....

I have another of Mattei's sex docs, Libidomania which is more fun with some good gore thrown in. My fave Mattei flick is probably the delirious The Other Hell. I also like Zombie Creeping Flesh, but disliked Rats. It bored the life out of me. His Nazi flick SS Girls was also disappointing (but also contains a fleeting scene involving a woman and a dog), but on the other hand, Womens Camp 119 is one of the best of the genre. His 'Caligula' rip Nero and Poppea: An Orgy of Power is also worth a look, in a so bad its good kind of way. It was shot back to back with the aforementioned Caligula and Messalina, which is credited to Anthony Pass, aka Antonio Passalia, as director.

I watched Mattei's SS Girls last night and it was awful. His worst film along with Caligula and Messalina.

I watched Cruel Jaws the other week, that films left me speachless. It must have cost him about $300 to cover the expense of casting a couple of dolphin's for the movie. He then stole whole lines of dialogue from Jaws, and the pretty much the finale of The Last Jaws and released this mess...

It's morbidly entertaining though, just to see how bottom of the barrel its willing to get!

Still need to get The Other Hell BD. Lunatic is putting it mildly.
