I watched the French one, with the English dub, I enjoyed it, but it was a bit shit towards the end, I get the feeling Jess had already grown bored by the 70 minute mark and was already thinking about the next film! The last 20-25 minutes were just bonkers and abrupt... Also Lina (looking beautiful in that short blond hairstyle) and her jailbird lesbian lover Lynn Monteil must be the two worst strippers ever! To top that off Lina is also a terrible spy, spending an entire roll of film taking pictures in the dark of a window with the shutters closed

Excellent, highly recommended.

I almost forgot, Lina mistress of disguise in that gold bikini, I almost didn't recognise her

Lunatic. Like shuffling a deck of tropes but staring intently at The Growler instead of watching his hands .
Loved the nods to Red Lips. I instantly heard that sax during their 'act' .

This may be of interest.

Experimental documentary from director Pere Portabella. The film follows the shooting of Jesús Franco's 'Count Dracula' (1970) starring Christopher Lee, Herbert Lom and Soledad Miranda, featuring behind-the-scenes footage of the production process accompanied by a soundtrack from Catalan artist and musician Carles Santos.

It's out next week.

It's interesting that this is coming out, it's actually on the bluray of Count Dracula from Severin Films.

It's very experimental though and doesn't have much (if any) dialogue in it.

The dvd just has a half hour doc on the making of the film. It is ten years old now, so that's fine.

There's also Christopher Lee reading Stokers story as well.

UK Censorship History
Banned by the BBFC from 1985 until 2003 when it was passed 18 after 2:25s of cuts. The BBFC cuts were waived for 2017 DVD. There are multiple versions with different mixes of sex and violence including a hardcore version.
