UK Censorship History
Banned by the BBFC from 1985 until 2003 when it was passed 18 after 2:25s of cuts. The BBFC cuts were waived for 2017 DVD. There are multiple versions with different mixes of sex and violence including a hardcore version.

It's good to see this getting an uncut release, but why no Bluray?

And it's also great to see that the BBFC are passing films like this uncut these days. Although, i don't think we'll ever see Women in Cell Block 9, and Loveletters of A Portuguese Nun fully intact on these shores.

There might be BD later on, Screenbound were just testing the waters with the DVDs I think and they do in fact have 3 Blus coming out shortly from the same line.

A lot of these films are already available in the US on region free BD.

And i noticed that they intend putting out The Iron Rose, Schoolgirl Hitchhikers, Cold Eyes of Fear, and Black Magic Rites on Bluray.

Found quite a few of the Blackhouse dvds in HMV. You have to search ... as they put them where they feel like it.

Hence finding The Day The Earth Stood Still in the World section.

I was just in CEX and they had a copy of Downtown - Die nackten Puppen der Unterwelt for £22.00

I think they had it priced up wrong because the sticker said Jess Franco Collection Vol 2, and the box art had not for individual resale on it

Also, I've rented the DVD of The Awful Dr. Orloff but I've been sent the Arrow DVD which is cut, rather than the Screenbound one which is uncut, should I just watch it anyway and see if I enjoy it? If I do like it I can get the Redemption Bluray of it.

Awful Dr O is great. Cut for what?? Sighs. Downtown I love .... but not that much ahem.

Found a few 88s in the Dundee shop btw. Not as many as I hoped tbough.
